POLICE arrested eight suspected pushers, including teenage boy, in separate operations in San Juan and Marikina cities, according to reports from Eastern Police District (EPD).
Reports submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) director Chief Supt. Bernabe Balba by San Juan police chief Senior Supt. Dindo Reyes said the four suspects were nabbed in successive operations in three barangays in the city from Tuesday morning up to early Wednesday morning.
Reyes said suspect Crisanto David, 18, of Ama Compound, Bgy. Batis was nabbed by patrolling members of Police Community Precint 2 (PCP-2) after he created trouble brandishing a bladed weapon on Wilson St., Bgy. Little Baguio at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A sachet of shabu and a knife were recovered from the teenage boy.
A team from Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) headed Senior Insp. Dionisio Jonathan de Castro nabbed Janice Patron, 38, and Menalyn Villanueva, 38, graphic artist, both of St. John St., Bgy. Corazon de Jesus, in separate buy-bust operations at 6 p.m.
Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, suspects Carlito Campang, alias Doy, 43, vendor, of Sampaloc, Manila City, and Juliana Sotelo, alias Julie, 38, of Bgy. Salapan, San Juan City, were busted along F. Roman Street corner Aurora Boulevard.
Meanwhile, Marikina SDEU headed by Insp. Greco Gonzales arrested four drug peddlers identified as Richard Lascano, 28, Erwin Jackson, 43, driver; Roberto Campos, 31, and Muhammad Binsuwito, 24, all of Bgy. Nangka.
Gonzales said anti-drug operatives received information that the four suspects were about to sell drugs to their customers.
Recovered from the suspects were 12 sachets of suspected shabu.
The suspects were detained, facing appropriate charges.
