4 QCPD detainees yield drug paraphernalia

Police seized several drug paraphernalia from four female detainees at the Project 4 Police Station of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).

QCPD director Chief Supt. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. said Project 4 Police Station (PS 8) under Supt. Ophelio Dakila Concina is investigating detainees Jennylyn Manaois, 24, of Bgy. Old Balara, Jemma Matotte, 25, Jojie Mota, 51, both of Antipolo City, and Abegail Adriano, 35, of Bgy. Pansol, after police seized from them several drug paraphernalia during an inspection.

At about 7:45 p.m. on September 29, 2018, operatives of PS-8 received information that a pot session was being conducted by the said detainees while inside the detention facility.

Acting on the report, operatives of Station Drugs Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted surprise inspection at the female detention facility that resulted in the recovery of three aluminum foils, two disposable lighters and one cellular phone from the suspects.
