FOUR men roaming around a barangay in Quezon City Police District (QCPD) were killed after engaging in a shootout with cops on Sunday morning.
QCPD director Chief Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar said operatives of La Loma Police Station (PS-1) received a call from a concerned citizen at 3:36 a.m. yesterday, about four men roaming around in Bgy. Ba-lingasa, near Joy Street.
Police said the suspects fired shots at them as they were about to approach the latter.
An exchange of fire ensued, killing four suspects on the spot.
One of the four unidentified suspects was described as about 30-35 years old, about 5’3” tall, wearing a blue T-shirt and camouflage shorts. The second was about 25-30 years old, 5’4”, in a navy blue T-shirt and black shorts. The third was 20-25 years old, 5’7” tall, wearing a violet T-shirt and grey shorts. The fourth was 40-45 years old, 5’2” tall, in a green T-shirt and black shorts.
Police investigators recovered two cal. .45 pistols, a cal. .38 revolver, a 9mm pistol, and sachets of suspected shabu at the crime scene.
