AT least 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million were seized by authorities from four arrested drug pushers following a buy-bust operation at noon Tuesday in Pasay City.

Pasay police chief Senior Supt. Noel Flores said the arrested suspects, identified as John Michael Laureta, 29, of 645 Pasay Boulevard, Bgy. 128, Mark Xander Laureta, 29, Bryan Villabriga, 36, and Aldrin Alba, 28, all of 2429 M. Dela Cruz, Bgy. 127, are now in the custody of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) National Capital Region (NCR).

A report received by acting Southern Police District (SPD) director Senior Supt. Eliseo Cruz said that at 12 noon Tuesday, joint elements of PDEA-NCR led by Special Investigator 2 Freddie Bannagao and Pasay Police Central Park Police Community Precinct (PCP) led by Insp. Allan Abaquita conducted a buy-bust operation against the suspects along Pasay Boulevard, Bgy. 128.

When the suspects handed a pack of shabu to a PDEA agent who posed as poseur-buyer in exchange for P700 marked money, authorities immediately placed them under arrest.

When frisked, five transparent plastic sachets containing 500 grams of shabu and the P700 marked money were recovered from the suspects.

PDEA-NCR Director Joel Plasa said their investigation showed that the suspects were responsible for the proliferation of illegal drugs in Bgy. 128 in Pasay and other cities in Metro Manila.
