THE conflict between rival gangs injured two men who were both hit by bullets in their bodies Tuesday night in Pasay City.

Michael John Padua, 30, of 415 D. Reyes St., Bgy. 105, was rushed to Pasay City General Hospital while Renz Pineda, 28, of 529 Tengco St., Bgy. 105, was brought by his relatives to San Juan De Dios Hospital for treatment of bullet wounds in their bodies.

A report received by Pasay City Police chief Senior Supt. Noel Flores said both victims belong to different rival gangs that clashed at around 10 p.m. at the corner of Aurora and Tolentino Streets.

At the height of the riot, a burst of gunfire was heard until responding elements of Pasay police arrived, prompting others who joined the melee to scamper to different directions, leaving the two victims sprawled bloodied on the road.

Senior Supt. Flores said a follow-up operation was still being conducted by police for possible identification and arrest of the gunmen.
