POLICE arrested two suspected drug pushers, including a 15-year-old out-of-school youth during a buy-bust operation Sunday night in Valenzuela City.

Santiago de Vera, alias “Santi”, 38, of Blk. 5, Lot 7, JE Pama Compound, was with his minor cohort when they were nabbed by elements of Valenzuela Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) at 7 p.m. near De Vera’s house in Upper Tibagan, Bgy. Gen. T. De Leon.

Valenzuela police chief Senior Supt. David Nicolas Poklay said the minor suspect handed to a police poseur-buyer a pack of shabu in exchange for P500 marked money which was received by De Vera.

When frisked, the two yielded four transparent plastic sachets of undetermined quantity of suspected shabu while the marked money was recovered from De Vera.

Senior Insp. Albert Juanillo Jr. said a case for violation of RA 9165 will be filed against De Vera before the Valenzuela City Prosecutor’s Office while the minor suspect will be turned over to City Social Welfare Department (CSWD).
