TWO gunmen are now being hunted down by the police after they shot dead a 38-year-old man while the latter was chatting with friends in front of his home in Tondo, Manila, the other night.
SPO2 Lester Evangelista of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section identified the victim as Larry Baguio Borja, of 335 Sta. Margarita St., Tondo. He died on the spot due to a lone gunshot wound in the head.
Investigation showed that at around 7:15 p.m., the victim’s sister Rosalinda Baguio saw her brother talking to friends when a shot rang out.
She then saw a man wearing a cap, black shirt and checkered shorts holding a gun as the victim laid on the ground bloodied.
Baguio then sought out the victim’s wife Arsenia and together, they brought the victim to the nearest hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The gunman and his companion, meantime, reportedly walked casually out of the scene.
The identities of the two and the motive for the killing remains unknown.
