THIRTEEN rookie policemen from Caloocan Police Assistance Center (PAC)-12 are now in hot water after they were accused of robbing a woman of cash, jewelry and gadget inside the victim’s house in Caloocan City.

Gina Erobas, 51, of 150 Barrio Sta. Rita, Bgy. 188, Tala, filed a complaint of robbery and violation of domicile before the Caloocan Police Station Investigation and Detective Management Branch (SIDMB) against PO1s Ariel Furlo, Marvin Poblete, Sherwin Rivera, Jay Gabatu, Shabane Sampurna, Rene Llanto, Louie  Serrano, Jaypee Talay, Ronelio Julaton, Jay-R Sabangan, Jaime Natividad, a certain PO1 Miguel and PO1 Joey Learan, all assigned at the PAC-12 of Police Community Precinct (PCP) 4.
The incident, according to the victim, happened last September 7 at around 9 p.m. when a team of policemen from PAC-12 forcibly entered their house by destroying their main gate with the use of bolt cutter.
The policemen allegedly took two wrist watches worth a total of P8,000, cellphone worth P12,000 and wallet containing  P6,000 cash.
Erobas said she was able to identify the rookie policemen through the help of footage from a close circuit television (CCTV) camera installed inside their house.
The victim told police that she will also file a case of violation of RA 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law against the policemen after her two minor grandchildren, who witnessed the incident, were traumatized.
