Light flyweight Mark Anthony Barriga again wowed the crowd with his cat-quick moves and constantly outwitted Alisher Maxmudov of the host country, 4-1.
Although the Uzbek briefly held the lead in round one, 1-0, the 17-year-old Davao del Norte native quickly overcame the deficit and never looked back.
Joan Tipon , 29, who retired after the 2009 SEA Games due to a shoulder injury, again showed grim determination and superb physical conditioning in subduing another Uzbek, Ismoil Haitbaev, insimilar 4-1 fashion.
