INAASAHANG lalo pang lalala ang “away” nina Executive Secretary Paquito “Jojo” Ochoa at dating Senador Mar Roxas sakaling mahirang na ito bilang presidential chief of staff.
Ayon sa isang Malacañang insider, ngayon pa lang ay nag-aagawan na sa kapangyarihan sina Ochoa at Roxas dahil isa-isa nang binabalangkas ngayon ang magiging “kapangyarihan” ng bagong presidential chief of staff.
Isa sa “pinagtatalunan” ngayon ng magkalabang “Samar” at “Balay” group ay gawing “administrative matters,” na lamang ang “function” ni Ochoa. Ang lahat ng paper works, partikular na ang kapangyarihan sa “appointments” at “political decisions” ay hahawakan na ni Mr. Palengke.
Matatandaang sa kampanya pa lang noong nakaraang eleksiyon, nagtitirahan na sa likod ang grupo nina Roxas at Ochoa. Si Roxas, bilang chairman ng Liberal Party at ka-tandem ni P-Noy sa nakalipas na presidential elections ay kabilang sa mga prominenteng tao sa likod ng tinatawag na Balay group.
Si Ochoa, bukod sa barkada, kumpare at ka-jamming sa pagyosi at bilyar ni P-Noy, ay pasimuno naman ng Samar group. “Inilaglag” ng grupo nito ang kandidatura ni Roxas at sa halip ay sinuportahan si Vice-President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay.
