NATIONAL Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents nabbed an American who had been a fugitive of justice in the country after he killed his Filipina wife whom he buried in his own backyard in Las Vegas, Nevada, months ago.
NBI-Central Luzon regional director Atty. Ric Diaz said the American, 53-year-old Hugh Cave, is wanted in the U.S. for murdering his wife Gloria. He is now undergoing extradition processes so he can be brought back to Nevada and face the charges against him. Cave was found by NBI agents in the house of his wife in Sabang Village, Morong, Bataan.
Reportedly, his wife was last seen alive by relatives during a thanksgiving party in November last year.
Last February, Cave was said to have gone to the Philippines and informed Gloria’s relatives that she died in a car accident and was burned, even bringing an urn supposedly containing her ashes.
