2 pushers die in clashes

TWO suspected drug peddlers were killed during two separate buy bust operations in No-valiches, Quezon City.

Acting Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Senior Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar identified the slain suspects as Emmanuel Orario, 42, of 812 Dupax Compound, King Alexander St., Kingspoint Subd., Bgy. Bagbag; and Robert Tolentino, 21, of 28 Geronimo St., Bgy. Sta. Monica, Novaliches. Both are included in the QCPD PS-4 drug watchlist.
A report gathered frim the QCPD-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said that at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the QCPD PS-4 Station Anti-illegal Drugs Operatives (SAID), led by Insp. Dennis Francisco, conducted a buy-bust operation against Orario at 812 Dupax Compound. An operative acted as a poseur-buyer and handed the money to Orario. When the suspect sensed that he was dealing with a policeman, he drew his gun and shot the operative, who retaliated wounding the suspect, who died on arrival at Novaliches District Hospital.
Another operation was conducted at 12:30 a.m. yesterday against Robert Tolentino, of 28 Geronimo St., Bgy. Sta. Monica, Novaliches, with an operative posing as buyer. However, the suspect sensed the presence of policemen so he took a handgun and fired at the operatives, who shot back. He died at Novaliches District Hospital.
