Gunmen ambush Malabon contractor

A 41-year-old contractor was killed in an ambush while driving home on a motorcycle Friday evening in Malabon city.

Arnaldo Hizon of No. 8 Vivencio Street, Barangay Niugan died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by two unidentified suspects who immediately fled on foot towards Samaton Street, Barangay Tonsuya after the shooting.
Malabon police head of investigators Insp. Paul Dennis Javier said the victim had just come from his partner’s house in Pilapil C. Perez Street at around 9:30 p.m. and heading home when attacked.
Malabon police deputy chief for operation Chief Insp. Lucio Simangan said that  investigators are still facing a blank wall as to the identity of the gunmen and the motive behind the killing,
Simangan said witnesses and family members, including the victim’s partner Robellette Dacilio will be invited for questioning by police to help solve the case.
