Salvage victim dumped in Tanauan

AN unidentified body of a male person police believed a victim of summary execution was found by residents in Tanauan City, yesterday.

Chairman Ramil Mercado, of Bgy. Altura Bata, Tanauan City, reported to the Tanauan City Police Station the man’s body found by residents in the barangay at 2:30 a.m. yesterday.

Police said the victim is about 5’4” in height, of large built, wearing white T-shirt, blue pants, rubber shoes, his face was covered with masking tape and bore multiple stab wounds in the body and handcuffed.

Investigators believed that the victim was killed elsewhere and dumped at the place to mislead police.

A team from the Regional Crime Laboratory Office 4A, led by Insp. Calijan, conducted investigation and autopsy on the cadaver which now lies at Zenaida Lim Funeral Homes.
