LOS BANOS, Laguna -- Trace College bounced  back from a heartbreaking loss to  subdue University of  the Philippines-Los Baños, 71-63, in the fourth  Laguna Colleges and Universities Athletic Association  (LACUAA) basketball tournament at the Copeland gym. 

Julius  Herradura  led three other  mainstays with double-digit  scores  for  the Stallions, who  rebounded   from  a  sorry  80-81 loss  to Asia Tech  College the previous day.
Herradura finished with 25 points for  coach Ralph  Ivan Elayda-mentored Trace, which kept the top  spot with its sixth win against three losses.
Backing up Herradura were  John  Paolo Angeles  with 16 points, Darius  Cunanan  with 14 and Elison Honra  with 11.
Karl   Ramos  led  UPLB  with 14 points, followed by Lorenzo  Angeles  with 13, Ramon  Dimasupil  and  Paul  Martin Cruz  with eight apiece.
Colegio  San Agustin-Biñan completed   twin kill   by  downing Blessed Christian School, 91-42, in the high school division and   De La  Salle  University-Integrated School,  67-50, in  the elementary category.
Calamba Institute and Don Bosco won by forfeitures over Pagsansan HS.
