19 busted for drugs in Valenzuela, Las Piñas, San Juan

AT least 19 suspected drug personalities were arrested by police in separate buy-bust operations in Valenzuela, Las Piñas and San Juan cities.

Jeffrey Villamor, 30, Marlon Macale, 35, Carlito Perez, 43, and Joel Calanes, 36, all residents of Gen. T. de Leon, Valenzuela City, were caught at a pot session in Lower Tibagan area at 4 p.m. Monday by elements of Station Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (SAIDSOTG). Recovered from them were six sachets of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.
At 10 p.m. in the same area, six drug suspects were caught during police buy-bust operation. Investigator-on-case SPO4 Ronald Sanchez identified them as Edgardo Acuna, 60, Jaymee Marange, 29, Fernando Bello, 30, Anthony Delupio, 29, Ablino Dantes, 54, Sherwin Ang, 27, and Apolinario Tibar, 38.
Another buy-bust operation conducted earlier at about 9:30 p.m. in Canumay West area resulted in the arrest of Ronnie Regpala, 42, and Roden Inalgan, 32.
At about 4:30 p.m, two police officers chanced upon Arthur Ramirez, 39, a security guard on duty at the Valenzuela City Social Hall, Karuhatan exit gate, holding a sachet of suspected shabu, which led to the suspect’s arrest.
Another report received by Valenzuela police chief Senior Supt. Ronaldo Mendoza said one Robert Janito, 33, of San Juan St., Bgy. Isla, was caught in possession of four sachets of suspected shabu during an anti-illegal drug operation at 1:15 a.m. yesterday in Balangkas area.
In Las Piñas City, four  men, including an alleged “ninja cop” and his alleged cohort, were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted by operatives of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and police, the other day.
Reports said SPO1 Jonel Andador, assigned at Police Regional Office 4B and an intelligence operative of Southern Police District (SPD), was arrested by virtue of warrant issued by Makati Regional Trial Court Judge Carlito Calpatura.
NBI operatives swooped down on Andador’s Green Lane townhouse in Manuela, Las Piñas City and arrested his alleged cohort, Richard Gallardo.
Andador was tagged as a ninja cop or a policeman who allegedly recycles confiscated illegal drugs and sell it in the market, particularly in Southern Luzon.
Confiscated from Andador’s house were three M2k grenade, two cal. .45 pistols, a Glock .40 pistol, several bullets and a plastic sachet of shabu.
Meanwhile, SAIDSOTG operatives of the Las Pinas police arrested Michael Martinez and Christian Tadeo at 7:20 p.m. at Paultry Compound, Bgy. Manuyo.
Police said they recovered two plastic sachets containing shabu following the arrest of the suspects.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the four suspects while Andador and Gallardo were also charged for illegal possession of firearms, ammunition and explosive.
In San Juan City, Station Anti-Illegal Drugs (SAID) operatives arrested a suspect while selling illegal drugs the other night.
Senior Supt .Victor Arevalo, San Juan police chief, identified the suspect as Adrin Manlangit, alias Elok, 21, of 29F Road 9, 1st West St., Bgy West Crame.
Insp. Edwin Malaba-nan led a team which arrested Manlangit in a buy-bust operation at 8:45 p.m. on Road 9, Bgy. West Crame.
Manlangit was collared after handing a sachet of shabu to a poseur. He yielded another heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu and the P400 buy-bust money.
Malabanan said the operation against Manlangit was conducted after a week of surveillance by his men.
The suspect was detained at San Juan detention cell, facing charges of violation of RA  9165.
