ANOTHER suspected notorious shabu dealer in Antipolo City was shot dead by an undercover officer after he sensed he was dealing with a cop and tried to shoot the lawman yesterday morning, officials said.

Antipolo City police chief Supt. Simnar Gran said the poseur, whose name was withheld for security reasons, had just bought P500 worth of shabu from the suspect on Alabama Street near corner South Carolina Street in Joyous Heights Subd., Sitio Hinapao, Bgy. San Jose, when the latter sensed the entrapment operation and tried to shoot the officer with a caliber .38 revolver.

Acting in self-defense, the officer returned fire, killing the suspect, identified only as alias ‘John-John’ and described to be around 25-30 years old, 5’4” in height, with the tattoos ‘Camille’ on the right wrist, club, heart, diamond and spade on each finger of his right hand, ‘Tiglao’ on his belly and ‘Tribal’ on his right torso.

The slain suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and gray short pants, said Gran.

Recovered from the suspect were a cal. .38 revolver with five live ammunition, 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, the marked P500 bill paid to him by the poseur and several rolled aluminum foil strips.
