CAMP Malvar, Batangas -- A 39-year-old aircon technician accused of forcible abduction with rape of a woman was arrested by authorities while securing police clearance from the Batangas City Police Station.
Kerwin Baclaan Reyes, married, a native of Misamis Oriental and residing at Tierra Del Oro Subd., Bgy. Sta. Rita, Ilaya, Batangas City, was arrested while securing a police clearance, said provincial police director Senior Supt. Leopoldo Cabanag.
Batangas City police chief Supt. Barnard Dasugo said that at 2 p.m. the other day, the accused was arrested by the Warrant Section, led by SPO2 Tadeo Loyola de Chavez, by virtue of a warrant for forcible abduction with rape issued by Judge Ma. Conchita O. Lucero-de Mesa, of RTC Branch 70, Binangonan, Rizal, with no bail recommended
The incident happened in 2010 in Binangonan, Rizal, when the accused abducted then a 19-year-old Lenlen (not her real name) and brought her to his residence in Tierra Del Oro Subd., Bgy. Sta. Rita, Ilaya, and raped her, said Cabanag.
The accused was held at the police lock-up cell.
