THE man who first brought up the allegations that Manny Pacquiao may be into performance-enhancing drugs is at it again.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. blasted the Filipino boxing champion for refusing to fight his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and denying boxing fans of what many referred to as the biggest and richest bouts in boxing history.

The elder Mayweather is flabbergasted a match expected to give each fighter around $40 million will be turned down by the 31-year old Pacquiao, whom he called names, from ‘dumb’ to ‘crazy.’

”Who wouldn’t fight for that kind of money, unless they’re dumb, stupid and crazy,” said Mayweather Sr. in an interview by ABS-CBN.

“I think it was $40 million, something like that. They will both get that kind of money.”

The tirade is the latest Mayweather Sr. has fired on Pacquiao after earlier alleging that the world’s pound-for-pound fighter is into steroids following his sensational wins against fighters bigger than him, from Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, to Miguel Cotto.

Mayweather Sr. trained Hatton when he fought Pacquiao last May, with the Filipino flattening the Briton in the middle of the ring with a devastating left hook in the waning seconds of the second round of their junior welterweight fight.

His allegations on Pacquiao’s supposed drug use eventually led his son’s camp to insists that a random-type, Olympic style drug testing be administered for their scheduled March 13 welterweight showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao denied that he’s taking performance-enhancing drugs.

While he is not against drug testing per se, the seven-division champion is actually opposed to the random-style test the Mayweather camp is insisting, a disagreement that led to the collapse of the fight.

Mayweather Sr. criticized Pacquiao for refusing to undergo random-style blood testing.

“They’re gonna fight. They’re not gonna take much blood out of you, talking that he gonna get weak before the fight. You’re gonna get weak after he tapped that ass so that’s what he is scared about.”

Both camps have since moved on, with Pacquiao taking on Joshua Clottey on March 13 in his first defense of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown, while

Mayweather Jr. battles World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight king Shane Mosley on May 1.

Pacquiao has also filed a defamation complaint against the Mayweathers and other members of his camp for alleging he is into performance-enhancing drugs.

Mayweather Sr. however, is not closing the door on a Mayweather-Pacquiao bout in the future.
