IT’S an all-out war on Valentine’s Day for Filipinos Nonito Donaire, Bernabe Concepcion, Ciso Morales and Gerry Penalosa as they aim for a sweep of their fights opposite Puerto Rican foes in ‘Pinoy Power 3.’

The boxing card will be broadcast live from Las Vegas, USA this Sunday (Feb. 14) at 10:30 a.m. on ABS-CBN, though a partnership between boxing promotion Top Rank and ABS-CBN Sports.

Donaires defends his World Boxing Association (WBA) super-flyweight interim title against knockout artist Gerson ‘El Nene’ Guerrero in his third appearance in the ‘Pinoy Power’ series.

The ‘Filipino Flash’ is rated no. 6 pound-for-pound boxer by the Ring magazine and coming off fresh from a win against Rafael Concepcion of Panama last August.

Former World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight contender Bernabe Concepcion, meanwhile, gets back on track following a failed title bid last August as he takes on Mario Santiago.

Bernabe is currently training at the Wild Card gym in Los Angeles, where his manager, boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao, is also holding training camp for his WBO welterweight fight against Joshua Clottey.

“It’s great to be training with him (Pacquiao). When we get to share the ring, he teaches me footwork and gives me tips in fighting,” said Bernabe in an interview by ABS-CBN sports correspondent Dyan Castillejo.

Penalosa, the savvy ring veteran, vies in a title elimination fight against Eric Morel, while undefeated Ciso ‘Kid Terrible’ Morales vies for his first world title when he challenges Fernando ‘Conchulito’ Montiel for the WBO bantamweight championship.

Also fighting in the undercard is Filipino Mark Melligen who battles undefeated Texan Raymond Gatica.

‘Pinoy Power 3’ will also be shown on a delayed telecast basis over Studio 23 at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Balls Skycable channel 34 is likewise airing it on Feb. 16 (4 p.m.) and Feb. 18 (9 p.m.).
