Hope Christian High School defeated St. Paul College-Makati, 25-10, 25-11, to stay undefeated with five straight wins in the premier 17-Under Competitive Division of the Milo-sponsored 16th Women's Volleyball League at the Xavier School gym.

San Beda College-Alabang, however, remained close, clinching its fourth straight win in as many days at the expense of Holy Family School (2-3), 25-10, 25-22, in this tournament organized by the pioneering Best Center.
Colegio San Agustin-Makati (4-1) also kept itself up with a 25-14, 25-16 triumph over Immaculate Concepcion Academy (1-4), while St. Scholastica's College (3-2) rapped PWU-JASMS (0-4), 25-8, 25-7.
In 17-Under Developmental Division matches, Group A games saw La Salle College-Antipolo over Colegio de Sta. Rosa-Makati, 25-20, 25-15; San Antonio de Padua College over Holy Trinity, 25-21, 25-13; and School of the Holy Spirit over Philippine Tiong Se Academy, 25-15, 25-11.
Group B had Escuela de Sophia of Caloocan over Assumption-Antipolo, 25-20, 25-16, and then again over St. Scholastica's Westgrove, 25-12, 25-15; St. Joseph School of Fairview over OB Montessori-Greenhills, 25-9, 25-20; and St. Bridget School over St. Scholastica's Westgrove, 26-24, 25-23.
Group C had Miriam College over Immaculate Heart of Mary College, 25-17, 25-18; San Beda College Alabang over Saint Pedro Poveda via default; and School of St. Anthony over Assumption, 25-18, 25-19.
