LOS ANGELES — Tony Parker poured in 42 points and passed out nine assists to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 107-96 home victory over Oklahoma City -- the team with the best record in the NBA.
Tim Duncan added a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Spurs, who improved to 13-1 at home but are now facing a nine-game road trip.
Parker at least ensured they head out buoyed by a victory. With 4,477 assists he has now surpassed Avery Johnson -- current coach of the New Jersey Nets -- for the Spurs club record.
JAZZ 96, LAKERS 87
Al Jefferson scored 18 points, Paul Millsap had 16, and Earl Watson keyed a game-clinching 14-0 fourth quarter run for Utah.
Watson scored eight points and had six assists in the fourth quarter as the Jazz beat the Lakers for the first time in three tries this season.’

NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose scored 26 points with 13 assists, leading the Chicago Bulls to a 113-90 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Rose's performance helped ensure the Bulls celebrated the return of Britain's Luol Deng with a victory.
TRAIL BLAZERS 117, NUGGETS 97
Nicolas Batum returned from a two game injury absence to score a career-high 33 points for the Portland Trail Blazers in a 117-97 victory over Denver.
He connected on nine of his 15 three-point attempts, a club record for three-pointers in a game and the most by any player in the NBA in one game so far this season.
KINGS 114, WARRIORS 106, OT
Marcus Thornton scored 28 points and Tyreke Evans had 26 points and nine assists to help the Sacramento Kings beat the Golden State Warriors 114-106 in overtime Saturday night.
KNICKS 99, NETS 22
Jeremy Lin scored a career-high 25 points and New York salvaged the finale of a back-to-back-to-back set.
Lin came off the bench to control a struggling offense, adding seven assists while outplaying Nets All-Star point guard Deron Williams.
CLIPPERS 107, WIZARDS 81
Blake Griffin had 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, and DeAndre Jordan had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 107-81 victory against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
