It was the second consecutive straight set win in the semis for the Lady Altas, who are looking for their first championship since joining the league in 1984.
“Sana magtuloy-tuloy ang magandang ipinapakita ng mga bata. Sana ay maging healthy sila at nasa kondisyon pagdating sa finals,” said Perpetual Help coach Mike Rafael.
Letran later arranged an unlikely championship meeting with Perpetual Help after eliminating Emilio Aguinaldo, 17-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.
It was the second straight trip to the Finals for the Lady Knights, who meet the Lady Altas in a no-bearing match on Monday prior to their title showdown.
Norie Diaz and Honey Royce Tubino added nine and six hits, respectively, and libero Angelique Dionela scored 11 digs for the Lady Altas, who needed only 50 minutes in notching their 11th straight win in the tournament.
