ATENEO tries to formalize its entry in the semifinals of the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament as it clashes with Adamson today at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Coach Roger Gorayeb hopes the Lady Eagles become consistent in their plays again especially going into the homestretch of the eliminations.

“Sana mai-angat ulit ang level ng paglalaro ng mga bata dahil pabigat na ng pabigat ang laban,” said Gorayeb.

A win by Ateneo (8-2) in the 3:30 p.m. duel will enable them to join defending champion La Salle (10-0) in the Final Four.

The Lady Eagles went thru the wringer before slipping past the Lady Falcons, 22-25, 25-19, 16-25, 25-23, 15-11, in their first round meeting.

Adamson is currently locked in a three-way tie with University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University from third to fifth places with similar 6-4 records.
