NLEX coach Boyet Fernandez took the blame for their humiliating defeat and pointed to their inability to play defense as cause of their downfall.

Abueva drew a flagrant foul category 2 and was thrown out of the game late in the third quarter of Game 1 for hitting Jessie Collado in head.
Freego Jeans coach Leo Austria also expects Cebuana Lhuillier to play with a sense of urgency to force deciding Game 3.
The Jeans Makers escaped with a 56-55 decision in Game One as Roider Cabrera hit a huge 3 as time expired.
