CLARK Freeport Zone -- The body of a 19-year-old man was found hanging from an ipil-ipil tree in a farm lot at the Civil Aviation complex here last Sunday.
Chief Insp. Luisito Tan, commander of Police Station 4, identified the victim as Herico Narvasam Magtangub, single, of San Fabian, Pangasinan, who works as a stay-in farm helper here.
An aunt of Magtangub told investigators that they last saw the victim alive before midnight of Nov. 11. He changed his clothes and left the house.
The next day, the victim failed to return, prompting his relatives to search for him but to no avail.
Around 3 p.m. Sunday, a farmer discovered Magta-ngub’s lifeless body hanging from an Ipil-Ipil tree.
Investigators and Scene of the Crime Operatives, did not notice foul play in the death of the victim, saying the latter committed suicide.
A rubberized hose with wire was looped around the victim’s neck.
