La Oropesa takes long before she’s accepted by her son

DO you know that actress Elizabeth Oropesa, at 16 years old, ay isa nang ina?

Yes, in real life.

Kaya nga raw naka-relate siya nang husto sa role na ginagampanan ni JM de Guzman in the series they are currently doing together, Angelito: Batang Ama.

JM plays her grandson sa teleserye. And as a grandma to the kids ng kanyang anak na namatay, masasabi niyang mapagpalang lola siya. Sa edad niya, pinipilit pa niyang kumita para lang may maitustos sa  pag-aaral ng mga apo. In turn, ang pangaral niya sa mga ito ay ang mag-aral mabuti para sa kanilang kinabukasan.

Kaya, can you imagine her disappointment when bigla ngang nakabuntis si JM?

“Which is exactly daw how my lola, since laking lola ako, felt.

“Ganunpaman, in fairness sa lalaking nakabuntis sa akin at sa mga magulang niya, ipinakasal nila kami,” pahayag ni Beth.

Na ’di na dapat nangyari sana dahil pareho silang bata at ’di naman nagtagal ang kanilang pagsasama.

Sumakabilang-buhay na ang lalaki.

Her son, Henry, on the other hand, is now a professional nurse. Mabait, mapagpala at maalaga.

It took a while daw bago natanggap ni Henry na nanay siya nito. For a time daw, parang ate lang siya nito dahil sa madalas nakikipaglaro siya dito.

Now into alternative medicine, Beth refuses to lengthily discuss ang kan-yang bagong propesyon. In fact, ang kanyang pang-gagamot ay idinados niya by appointment lang.

She’ll not say na ang pagharap muli sa kame-ra, the wide and small screen, is one profession na probably hindi niya tatalikuran, pero kapag din lang may magandang offer, papayag siyang umarteng muli.

“Always, iba ang fulfillment kapag umaarte ka before the cameras,” pahayag pa ni Beth.

Marami sa mga sumusubaybay sa bagong kasisi-mulang 3rd episode ng Survivor Philippines ang naniniwalang magkakabalikan the now estranged couple Geneva Cruz at KC Montero.

Did we hear it right that Geneva is considering the idea? Ang diumano’y mag-reconcile sila ni KC?

Kunsabagay, wala tayong naririnig with either of them nali-link kahit kanino.

In the four years daw na naging estranged sina Geneva at KC, they continue to keep in touched, since parang tunay na ama at anak nga ang turingan nina KC at ng teenage na anak ni Geneva na si Heaven.

Heaven is Geneva’s son with singer Paco Arespacochaga.

Heaven is also close to his dad who now lives in the U.S. with her own family.

Survivor Philippines is aired weekdays on GMA-7. Host is Richard Gutierrez.

Geneva at KC are two among the 10 celebrity contestants ng reality show.
