CAMP ALEJO SANTOS -- The Bulacan Police Provincial Office is now accepting applications for all who would like to become policemen.
Senior Supt. Fernando Mendez Jr., Bulacan police director, said the PNP entrance test is open to all civilians who completed their required minimum qualifications.
The applicants must be a citizen of the Philippines and with good moral character. Must possess bachelor’s degree holders, not more than 30 years old, and 1.62 meters tall for male and 1.57 meters for female, eligible from career service professional and PD No. 907-Civil Service eligibility to college honor graduates.
In addition to said requirements, the applicants must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government and not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude.
The applicants must weight not more or less than five kilograms from the standard weight corresponding his/her weight, age, sex.
Mendez also said that the documents required in filing application are civil service personal data sheet (Revised 2005), NSO-authenticated birth certificate, authenticated certificate of eligibility, two pictures 2x2 black and white with name tag, one bust-size picture, one whole body picture and authenticated transcript of records/diploma.
Examinee must also provide local clearances such as barangay, mayor, police, RTC/MTC and NBI. Medical certificate (examination to be administered by the PNP) and fingerprint and handwriting specimen.
