FIVE heavily-armed robbers carted away P2 million after breaking into the Zamboanga del Norte Cooperative Bank in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental Tuesday morning.
Two of the suspects posed as customers and entered the bank on Enerio Street, Poblacion 2, Oroquieta City at 10:55 a.m.
They signaled their three companions to follow and disarmed security guard Leonard Reyes before declaring the holdup.
The robbers also threatened to shoot bank manager Reno Baguio and appraiser Juneth Ang when they refused to open the vault.
Police Regional Office 10 director Chief Supt. Conrado Laza said before fleeing, the suspects hogtied and blindfolded the victims.
