MABALACAT, Pampanga – A suspected carnapper who bolted jail for failing to post bail was recaptured in Angeles City the other day.
Town police chief Supt. Rolly Mendoza identified the escapee as Noel David, 25, of Barangay Camachile.
David was first arrested on April 5 for allegedly stealing the Suzuki Raider motorcycle of his neighbor.
The judge set bail at P180,000. Unable to post bail, David decided to escape on April 23.
On May 11, the suspect was spotted in Sta. Maria Subdivision in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
Homeowners informed police about a group of suspicious-looking men roaming inside the subdivision which resulted in the capture of David.
