Man killed


A 50-year-old man was shot dead along Tineg River in Bgy. Isit, Dolores, Abra, at around 5 a.m. Monday.

The victim was identified as Camelo  Gandeza,  of Bgy. Isit, Dolores.

Dolores police probers said the victim was preparing his fishing net in the river when waylaid.

Gandeza’s wife Myrna and daughter May, who were then in their cornfield, heard several gunshots. When she checked an hour later, May discovered her father dead at the river bank.

Chief information officer PRO-COR Supt. Leon P. Talleo said the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the body that caused his instantaneous death.

Police are still determining the motive for the killing.
