A FILIPINO lecturer at a university in the United Arab Emirates has been meted with a five-year jail term for giving drugs to a student.
The lecturer was identified by an Emirates 24/7 report only as CCT, 27. He will be deported back to the Philippines after serving his jail term. He was also charged for using drugs and was asked by the court to pay a fine of Dh20,000.
Records showed that a certain BM was arrested for using drugs and possessing .43 gram of crystal meth. BM told the police that he obtained the drugs from CCT. Tonight wire monitoring
