Suspected rapist falls

CAMP Malvar, Batangas -- The Lipa City Police Station’s Warrant and Intelligence sections on Wednesday nabbed the most wanted rape suspect in San Nicolas St., Bgy. Balintawak, a police report said.

Batangas police director Senior Supt. Leopoldo Cabanag identified the suspect as Michael Cadigal Rondero, a driver and native of San Juan, Batangas, and presently residing at San Nicolas St., Bgy. Balintawak, Lipa City.
   
Cabanag said that on October 19 at about 11:50 a.m., elements of the Warrant and Intelligence sections, led by SPO4 Raymond Canarias Valencia and under the direct supervision of Supt. Carlos E. Barde, OIC, conducted an operation against the wanted person which resulted in his arrestd by virtue of a warrant  issued by Judge Noel M. Lindog, of Regional Trial Court Branch 13, Lipa City.
 
The rape incident happened on August 8, 2016 on San Nicolas St., Bgy Balintawak, Lipa City.
   
The suspect was detained at the Lipa City police lock-up cell.
