20 drug suspects fall

AT least 20 suspected drug personalities were arrested in separate police operations in Bataan, Tarlac and San Pablo City, Laguna.

Reports gathered at Camp Olivas, Pampanga, said three women and 11 men were arrested over the weekend in the provinces of Bataan and Tarlac while six others were collared in San Pablo City.
Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo Jr., acting Bataan police director, identified two of the arrested women as Sherlyn Mendoza, 36, who sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer in Bgy. Tipo, Hermosa; and Ara Vitangcol, 29, who sold a small plastic sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer in Bgy. Calungusan, Orion town.
The other suspected drug pushers arrested in buy-bust operations include Jessie Burgos, 33, in Bgy. Camaya; and George Dinglas, 32, and Mark Lester Cabacang, 33, in Bgy. Lucanin, both in Mariveles town; and Mark Joseph Rivera, 20, in Bgy.  Townsite, Limay town.
In Gerona, Tarlac, Johnny Tablang Jr., 38, and Jun Tablang, 18, were arrested inside their rented apartment in Bgy. Carino after selling a plastic sachet of shabu for P500 to a poseur-buyer. Arrested with them were Caselyn Losano, 26, Tyrone Flores Jr., 33, and Marion Mejia, 42, who were holding a pot session inside the apartment.
Senior Supt. Westrimundo Obinque, acting Tarlac provincial police director, said Johnny Tablang is no. 1 on the anti-drug priority list of the Cuyapo Police Station.
Also arrested were John Zacarias, 47, in Bgy. Abagon, Gerona town; Jeffrey Borromeo, 37, of San Pablo, Tarlac City, who yielded five small sachets of shabu; and Johncen Estrada Facun, 29, of Bgy. Poblacion, Gerona, who yielded a plastic sachet of suspected shabu. He was arrested after he assaulted a policeman who accosted him for driving a tricycle with loud pipe (nuisance muffler). It was learned that the suspect’s name is on the list of the town’s drug personalities.
In San Pablo City, city police chief Supt. Raynold Rosero identified those arrested Tuesday afternoon as Randy Carmona Cabrera, 37, alias Randy; Mark Diokonsil Samsaman, 25, Florante Umali Neggradas, 35, Dennis Cortez Baylon, 43, Fidel Roallos Latag, 50, and Michael Banayo Pulla, 24.
A police poseur-buyer was able to buy shabu from a certain Samsaman who was arrested along with five others drug pushers in Bgy. San Ignacio.
Police seized from the suspects a brown leather wallet containing seven small plastic sachets of shabu, three marked P100 bills and P1,770.
The suspects were detained at San Pablo City Jail, facing charges of violation of RA 9165.
