SIX known drug dealers in Baguio City were arrested by the local police in separate anti-narcotics operations over the past two days, Cordillera Police Regional Office director, Chief Superintendent Elmo Francis Sarona, reported yesterday.
One of the suspects identified as Ariane Norman Dollaga, a 35-year-old computer technician residing in Kamagaong Street, Woodsville Subdivision in Camp 7 was arrested during a buy-bust operation near a 7-Eleven convenience store located at the junction of Bokawkan and Naguilian Road past 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Sarona said that the suspect was placed under arrest after he sold a packet of shabu to an undercover officer. When frisked, Dollaga yielded another plastic packet containing around P52,000 worth of the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine’ and the two marked P500 bills paid to him by the poseur.
Also arrested were Ernesto John del Rosario, Akii Velasco, Tyron Briones, Erwin de la Peña, 25; Marvin Valenton, 34; and Mark Anthony Cariño, 21.
