President to stamp out bad eggs in gov’t

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has vowed to rid the bureaucracy of bad eggs and stamp out corruption in government as he urged  the public to text him their complaints in his forthcoming  hour-long morning show.

“If you are made to go back and forth, magtext lang kayo. No more names. Mag-text lang kayo, ako na ang bahala. Pag ‘di n’yo ako tulungan wala talaga akong magawa para sa inyo. 

“If you do not help me ferret out the bad guys eh di ‘wag kayong magcomplain ng corruption corruption,” the President said.
   
Duterte warned government officials who are corrupt or inefficient.
   
“Ang sabi ko sa mga taga-gobyerno, eh, and I will see to it, you are dismissed. I do not give a sh-- if you are a director, or a general,” he said.
   
“Lahat ng Pilipino na nakatikim ng -- whether it’s in the permit sa office of the mayor, or an electrical clearance or way of right already paid but unimplemented, i-text mo na lang. Your name, the government official, do not add your name," the President said.
   
The President had a service-oriented TV program when he was Davao City mayor.
   
The idea of making a TV program and publishing a tabloid was raised in June by Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) chief Martin Andanar.
   
Duterte reiterated that it should not take too long for the public to process documents in government agencies.
