IMUS City, Cavite -- Nine suspected drug personalities were arrested by elements of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (PAIDSOTG), led by Insp. Marcelino Male, and operatives from the Imus City Police Station (CPS) during a buy-bust operation at a “shabu tiangge” at Ordonez Compound in Bgy. Palico 4, here.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Senandi Habilag Llapitan, single, carpenter, of 364 Palico 1; Roland LaUnio Barrientos, single, construction worker, of Perpetual 4, Bgy. Palico 4; Eduardo Ligsa Alba, single, tricycle driver, who are all on the Imus CPS watchlist.
Also collared were Dionisio Navarro Liberato, married, construction worker, of Ordonez Compound, Bgy. Palico 4; Glenn Pilar Malinis, single, dispatcher, of 180 Sareak St., Bayan Luma 2; Jessie Solis Toralba, married, unemployed, of Bgy. Palico 4; Oscar Torres Guevarra, single, unemployed, of Ordonez Compound; Roberto Baring Ramos, carpenter, of Perpetual 4, Bgy. Palico 4; and Anthony Banzon Figueroa, single, of 15 Einstein St., Camella Homes, Bgy. Real 1, Bacoor City, Cavite, after being caught selling shabu inside the shabu tiangge allegedly operated by a certain “Dodong Liberato”.
Police seized from the suspects’ possession three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu approximate weighing 0.7 gram, three aluminum foil strips, three rolled aluminum foil tooter, four disposable lighters, two fruit game machines discovered in a nearby open shanty and the buy-bust money consisting of five P100 bills.
The suspects, who were turned over to the duty investigator for proper disposition, are facing charges of violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26; Sections 11, 12 and 14, Article 2 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Imus City Prosecutor’s Office. The pieces of evidence were brought to Cavite Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination.
