TWO more alleged drug suspects were killed by the Manila Police District (MPD) in a buy-bust operation conducted in separate places in Manila the other day.

First to fall dead at around 4:30 p.m. under the team of one Supt. Jerry Corpuz was alleged drug pusher Raymund Denullyn, alias ‘Emong’, 29, said to be a member of the Commando Gang and residing at 1007 Tayabas St., Tondo, Manila.

Recovered from him were four sachets of shabu and a .38 cal. gun.

At around 8:30 p.m., operatives from the MPD-Station 1 killed Rogelio Altazano, alias ‘Rogie’, 56, of 686 Cavite St., Gagalangin, Tondo.

The suspect, police said, had been in their drug watchlist since February last year. Confiscated from him were six shabu sachets, a .38 cal. gun and the P200 marked bills used in the buy-bust operation.

Police said that in both instances, the suspects sensed that they were dealing with cops and as such, put up an armed resistance, causing the police to shoot them.
