A 54-year-old woman was killed while five others were injured after the van they were riding turned turtle before falling into a ravine in Bohol yesterday morning.
A belated report sent to the Public Commuters Motorists Alliance (PCMA) identified the victim as Graciana Avergonzado, 54.
Police said the victim died at the Francisco Dagohoy Municipal Hospital in Bohol.
Responding police traffic investigator said injured were van driver Rey Potestico, 37, his mother Elizabeth and four children -- Bryle, 7, Joseph, 5, Rey, 8, and Ether, 10.
They were all rushed to Tagbilaran City Hospital for treatment.
Police said the van skidded off the road, before hitting a woman and turned turtle several times and went straight into a two-meter-deep ravine in Barangay Luyo at around 5:40 a.m.
