ALIAGA, Nueva Ecija
-- A 36-year-old man suspected to be involved in the recent spate of robbery-break-ins at public elementary schools in this town was killed by riding-in-tandem assassins on Monday.
Police identified the slain suspect as Ricky Feliciano, alias Toriok, single, of Calle Badoy, Bgy. Sto. Tomas, this town.
He was a passenger of a tricycle being driven by Sonny Bayan refilling fuel in a Caltex gasoline station when two RIT suspects suddenly appeared and peppered him with bullets.
Police said the victim ran and sought cover at the gas station’s convenience store but one of the suspects finished him off.
Police recovered several empty shells for cal. .45 pistol at the crime scene. They said the slain victim was one of the principal suspects in a series of robbery and theft incidents in elementary schools in the town.
They said he also had two pending robbery cases at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Cabanatuan City.
