ENDERUN College survived De Ocampo Memorial College, 96-85, in the battle of title contenders in the 16th NAASCU men’s basketball tournament at the Makati Coliseum.

Mark Gatdula, Marc Nunez,  Errol Villar, Collind Wabo and  Josh Grilli combined for 78 points for the Taguig City-based Titans, who improved to 8-1 under coach Pippo Niundo.

Dharell Caraguian led the way with 25 points for the 6-3 Cobras of coachRonnie Dojillo.
   
Philippine Merchant Marine School toppled Lyceum of Subic Bay, 114-92, for only its second win in six outings.
   
The Mariners of coach Aldrin Morante relied on Domark Matillano’s 24 points to beat the Sharks.
   
Earlier, EARIST outsteadied AMA University, 94-91, to finally barge into the win column after eight straight losses.
   
Andres Cahilig  fired  28 points and  Dan Natividad added 21 points for the Red Fox of  coach Ringo Jimenez.
   
The 3-6 Titans were led by Jayson Jordan  (21), Jezer Calma (15), Miguel Magpantay (15) and  Jason Riley (10).
