“Hinabol lang namin yung record  ng  D-League with James,” said  coach  Mark Herrera after his Titans  claimed their fourth  win in 10 contesrs..

Martinez poured 13 in the second period to erect a 49-40 halftime  lead for AMA, following it up with 13 points in the third before  catching fire with  31 markers in the payoff period.

For the Titans, every win right now is enough of a silver lining  even if  they  missed  a Final Four berth.

“Yung panalo din kasi ang hinahanap namin. Kung makadagdag sa record  namin, bakit   hindi namin  pagsikapan,” said  Herrera, who is being  assisted by  Benjie Diswe,  Edwin  Ancheta, Eugene  Bautista  and  Robert James Andaya.
