CDS kills six more drug suspects in Caloocan

SIX more bodies of suspected drug personalities were discovered in separate places, five of them allegedly killed by the dreaded “Caloocan Death Squad” (CDS) before dawn yesterday while one was summarily executed on Sunday in Caloocan City.

Caloocan police head of investigators Chief Insp. Ilustre Mendoza said the body of an unidentified man, described as about 40 to 45 years old, 5’6” in height and wearing Fubu T-shirt was discovered in Phase 4, Package 5, Barugo Tangke, Bagong Silang, at 3 a.m. yesterday.
The victim bore punctured and bullet wounds in the head and body and a placard with the message “Pusher ako wag tularan” was found at the crime scene.
Earlier at 1:30 a.m., the body of Aquilino Lopez, 39, jobless, of Phase 6, Package 4, Bgy. Camarin, was found lying in a pool of blood a few meters away from his house with visible gunshot wound in the head.
Homicide investigator PO3 Rhyan Rodriguez said they are still validating the information that the victim was involved in illegal drug activities.
In Bgy. 178, Camarin, police reported a shooting incident at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Avocado and Mangga Streets wherein the victim was identified as Virgilio Buna, 52, jobless, of Zapote St.
Police said Buna was playing billiards with one Elsie Molina when two men riding on a motorcycle arrived and shot him repeatedly. The victim was allegedly involved in illegal drug activities.
At 2 p.m., four men wearing ski mask barged in at the house of Ronald Guia, 30, at 1426 Mata-tag St., Bgy. 181, Pangarap Village, and shot him in the neck, killing him instantly. The suspects fled on two motorcycles.
Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) recovered a deformed fired bullet for cal. .45 pistol, six plastic sachet containing undetermined quantity of shabu and three plastic sachet containing dried marijuana.
Caloocan police chief Senior Supt. Johnson Almazan said that earlier at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, he received a report that two men who were allegedly involved in illegal drug activities were shot dead by riding-in-tandem suspects in separate places in North Caloocan.
Fernando Dona was standing in front of his house in Phase 1-B, Package 5, Block 30, Lot 9, Bagong Silang, when two men on a single motorcycle shot him several times in the body, while Roberto Dagandan, 53, was inside his house at 445 Alibang-bang St., Amparo Subd., Bgy. 179, when the suspects barged in and shot him twice in the head and body.
Dona was rushed to Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to bullet wounds in the body while Dagandan died on the spot.  With Jaemy Glemao (OJT)
