Seven suspected drug personalities were collared by police in separate anti-illegal drug operations in the cities of Sta. Rosa and Calamba in Laguna, Monday night.
A report to acting Laguna police director Senior Supt. Joel Pernito said two of the suspects were identified as Marilou Odo, alias Malou, 50, and Arnold Gatdula, alias Roy, 45, both of Southville IV, Bgy. Kaingin, Sta. Rosa City.
According to Supt. Giovanni Martinez, Sta. Rosa City police chief, a poseur-buyer was able to buy shabu from Gatdula, who also yielded four more plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,200 during a buy-bust operation at 8:30 p.m.
In Calamba City, operatives also arrested five suspected drug personalities in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Ilaya, Purok 7, Bgy. Parian, Monday night.
Supt. Albert Tapulao, Calamba police chief, said the suspects were identified as Jocelyn Basilisa Necerio, 48, Jay-Ar Aguirre Gelilio, 22, Teodoro Pastor Orza, 18, Ryan Ronquillo Caballero, and Mary Ann Almazan Tolentino, 28, all of Bgy. Parian.
Operatives confiscated five small transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu (0.24 gram) worth P8,000, three improvised aluminum tooters, two aluminum strips with shabu residue, a disposable lighter and two marked P100 buy-bust money.
The suspects were detained respectively at the Calamba and Sta. Rosa City jails while the recovered pieces of evidence will be submitted to PNP Crime Laboratory in Camp Vicente Lim for drug examination.
