ADAMSON brought down defending champion National University, 80-67, to remain only undefeated team in the UAAP juniors basketball tournament over the weekend at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Newcomer Florencio Serrano came through with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Gerry Abadiano added 13 points as the Baby Falcons banked on a huge fourth quarter effort to extend their winning run to three games.
Winderlich Coyoca and John Lloyd Clemente finished with 16 points apiece for the Bullpups.
Far Eastern University-Diliman bested Ateneo, 77-73, while UP Integrated School overpowered University of the East, 95-63, to force a three-way tie with NU at 2-1.
Kenji Roman led the way for the Baby Tamaraws with 16 points and nine rebounds, while spoiling Blue Eaglet Dave Ildefonso’s best game of  this  season with 22 points, seven boards and six steals.
Ateneo, last season’s third placers, have now lost two straight time.
Juan Gomez De Liaño had 24 points and 11 rebounds while Rafael Labao had a near triple-double with 14 points, 10 steals and nine boards for the Junior Maroons, who are making strides under new coach Paolo Mendoza.
La Salle-Zobel won for the first time in post-Aljun Melecio era with a 64-58 decision over University of Santo Tomas.
The rebuilding Junior Archers fell in a tie with the Blue Eaglets and the Junior Warriors at 1-2, while the Tiger Cubs stayed at the bottom of the standings with a 0-3 slate.
