A 48-year-old suspected drug pusher and user was shot dead by three men riding a motorcycle and members of the so-called Deadly Death Squad (DDS) out to liquidate suspected drug personalities yesterday in Pasay City.

Killed was Alexander Blanco, alias Oyett, 48, caretaker, of No. 15-E Lim-an St., Barangay 2, Pasay City.

PO3 Henry Manong, of Station Investigation and Detective Management Branch of Pasay City police, said the incident took place at 12:40 a.m. in front of the victim’s house.

Investigation showed that Blanco was just standing at the doorsteps of his house when the three motorcycle-riding gunmen appeared and without a word shot him successively.

Witnesses told police that the suspects immediately sped away when Blanco fell dead on the ground.

Barangay Chairman Dan Feliciano said Blanco, who earlier surrendered when “Oplan Tokhang” was enforced, vowed to stop using and peddling drugs only to return to his old habits.

Gina Morales, 50, a barangay kagawad, said they also noticed several men coming in and out of Blanco’s house where shabu sessions are being held daily.
