SEPARATE anti-crime operations by agents of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on Monday resulted in the killing of two armed suspects and the arrest of two most wanted persons in the country, a report to PNP-CIDG director Chief Supt. Roel B. Obusan said yesterday.
The slain suspects, identified as Jove Shane Seballos, alias ‘Toto,’ and one alias ‘Noynoy,’ were killed in a gunbattle with members of the Lanao del Norte CIDG and the Police Regional Office 10 in Purok 6, Bgy. Segapod, Maigo, Lanao del Norte, at around 11:30 p.m. Monday, said CIDG Region 10 chief Supt. Tom Tuzon.
Seballos was described as a ‘high-value’ drug target in Zamboanga del Norte and listed as the second most wanted person in Maigo town. Seized from the slain suspects were a loaded caliber .45 pistol, a cal. .38 revolver, 26 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.
In Agdao, Davao City, local CIDG operatives arrested Marlon Jamora, the second most wanted person on the list of the CIDG Region 11, during an operation in Purok Sta. Cruz in Bgy. Leon Garcia at 11 p.m. Monday.
CIDG Region 11 chief Supt. Edilberto Leonardo said Jamora is wanted for murder.
Early morning Monday, CIDG National Capital Region operatives under Senior Supt. Belli Tamayo captured Ricky Irabon, a wanted murder suspect, during an operation on Sitio Pa-yong, Old Balara, Quezon City. Tamayo described Irabon as the 6th most wanted person in Malinao, Aklan.
