Eastern Police District (EPD) director Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula identified the victim as Michael Francus Real, 23, of 652 Sanggumay St., Bgy. Plainview, Mandaluyong City.
Real died from a gunshot wound in the back.
Senior Supt. Joaquin Alva, Mandaluyong police chief, said the victim was discovered dead on Martinez St., Block 40, Welfareville Compound, Bgy. Addition Hills, at 1 a.m.

He immediately checked and saw the man lying on the pavement with a gunshot wound in the body.
The witness called up the police.
Reports said the victim was an asset of the Mandaluyong Police Station’s Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group (SAIDSOTG).
