AN Army general, who was known to be as “Abu Sayyaf hunter,” was victimized by suspected members of the “Bukas-Kotse Gang” the other day in Burnham Park, Baguio City.

Reports from Cordillera police said Brig. Gen. Ramon Yogyog, 54, assigned at the Headquarters of Special Operation Command (SOCOM) in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija, reported the incident to Baguio police.
Accordingly, the incident occurred at 6 p.m. on Sunday at a parking area near Solibao Restaurant on Abad Santos Drive, Burnham Park, Baguio City.
The victim said he parked his Isuzu Sportivo model 2010 (PQU-626) in the said area to have a dinner with his mistahs at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) when the incident happened.
The victim only discovered the incident when he returned to their headquarters in Nueva Ecija.
“The complainant narrated that he did not report the incident immediately because he has to attend the flag ceremony on September 19, 2016 and other scheduled commitment the following day,” the report said.
The suspects allegedly took a bag inside the car containing the caliber .45 pistol of the general.
It was also learned that there was no CCTV camera in the area.
