4 killed in QC anti-drug op

Four suspects were killed in an encounter with anti-illegal drug operatives in Quezon City on Thursday night.

Acting Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Senior Supt.  Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar identified the slain suspects as John Lester Nacion, 20, Anaceto Villamor, 40, Richard Hilbano, 32, and Jestoni Yu, 29, all residents of Bgy. Tatalon, QC.

The police official said that at around 11:50 p.m. Thusday, operatives of Station Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (SAIDSOTG) of Galas Police Station (PS-11) received a telephone call from a confidential informant regarding an ongoing shabu session at the house of a certain Richard Hilbano on San Gabriel Extension, Villa España 2, Bgy. Tatalon.

Acting on the information, Supt. Christian dela Cruz, PS-11 Station commander, deployed a team.

Upon arrival in the area when police officers were about to introduce themselves, the suspects drew guns and fired at the policemen, who promptly retaliated, killing the four suspects.
   
Recovered at the scene were four handguns, three cal. .38 revolvers and ammunition, a cal. .45 pistol with ammunition, a brick of dried marijuana, a plastic sachet of shabu and drug paraphernalia.
